I bought a dress upstairs at Funan Mall and needed it to be altered – found this shop by chance. May, the seamstress, was able to pin the alterations needed and worked fast so I could have my dress ready before heading to the airport. Really happy with the workmanship and care she took to adjust my dress (adjustment of darts & sides within a dress with lining). I experienced great customer service.

Twice I gave her a sweater to fix. Each time the item was fixed well and on time. Price was less than expected.

I only managed to get my garment after having to physically head down to the shop to chase for my alteration. I was informed incorrectly about the garment being ready for pick up on 3 different occasions and was blatantly lied to until I physically turned up at the store to realise that my dress was misplaced and shoved in a corner and had not even been touched since I dropped it off 2 weeks prior. There was also no transparency about the price of the service despite my asking. It was clear that she was overwhelmed with the orders she had to handle and even though she did do a drop off, the final alterations were not done well. To her credit – the initial fitting did go well, & she pinned the garment really well which was what prompted me to leave my garment there. However, I cannot recommend her services.

Cannot produce clothes on time. If you have internal problems then it shouldnt affect customers’ collection of clothes.

I have been bringing my dinner gowns and clothes I bought to May Tailor since 2017. Its been delightful working with her. The clothes are always amended till both of us are happy with the fit. The only tailor i trust!
